Our Coaching Team
NJ Soccer has carefully selected its team of talented and highly qualified coaches from across the world.
Our high standards of soccer coaching are consistently met by our monthly training program for all coaching staff. Professional athletes and sport consultants are invited to run training sessions for our coaches to ensure we are incorporating the latest soccer techniques with our Italian methodology.
NJ Soccer for Kids employ coaches with First Aid Certificates and each coach has extensive background checks prior to working with us.
We are passionate and committed to improving young children’s soccer skills in a safe and fun environment.
Head Coach Tony
Hi! I am Antonio Cama, you may call me Coach Tony from now on!
I am from Italy, a country where soccer is the national sport. I love soccer because it gathers together a range of ages from children to adults.
My passion for soccer began when I was only 4 years old. I started playing in a local Italian team improving my skills each year until I reached the semi-professional league when I was 18 years old.
As soon as I arrived in Hong Kong in 2009, I discovered that my passion for soccer coaching together with my skills could build sport programs for children. I spent time coaching at different soccer schools for kids aged 2 to 12 years.
In 2016 I moved to Singapore, where soccer is becoming increasingly more popular among younger players.
As a result, I founded NJ Soccer for Kids and I continue to work doing what I love as Head Coach. I have been in charge of the training of coaches and schedules of different locations transferring my passion for this sport in pre-schools, schools, sports venues and clubs.
My classes are based on my knowledge, skills and experience to pass on the fundamental soccer skills to the next generation!
What is soccer for me?
“Soccer starts with the head and not with feet: it is my aim to let players think first of all and co-ordinate their thoughts with their motor skills. It is important to have a clear vision of how the exercises have to be done properly and why they are useful for the future understanding of the game.”
“Soccer is based of fine technique, coordination and willingness to work hard to achieve results in sports as well as in everyday life.”
